PSPO II practice test and exam questions: think about value, not features
The Professional Scrum Product Owner II (PSPO II, often searched as PSPO 2) is Scrum.org’s advanced Product Owner certification. It tests whether you can maximize the value of a product in messy, real situations: competing stakeholders, a vague strategy, pressure to ship more features, or several teams on one product. You get about 90 seconds per question, so you need to recognize the Product Owner’s best move quickly. Our PSPO II practice tests build that instinct.

What the PSPO II exam tests
- Product value and strategy: vision, Product Goal, business models and measuring value with outcomes instead of output.
- Evidence-Based Management: using Current Value, Unrealized Value, Time to Market and Ability to Innovate to decide what to do next.
- Product Backlog management: ordering for value and risk, refinement, and saying no to work that does not serve the Product Goal.
- Stakeholders and customers: managing competing interests, getting real feedback and using the Sprint Review well.
- Forecasting and release planning: forecasts versus commitments, and releasing value early and often.
- Organizational design and culture: the Product Owner’s authority, working with management and scaling one product across several teams.
Sample PSPO II exam question
Your stakeholders judge success by the number of features delivered each quarter, but customers barely use most new features. What is the best way to change this?
- Ask the Developers to increase their velocity.
- Introduce outcome measures such as feature usage and customer satisfaction, review them with stakeholders at the Sprint Review and use them to order the Product Backlog.
- Stop adding features until stakeholders agree on priorities.
- Write more detailed acceptance criteria for each feature.
Answer: 2. A Product Owner maximizes value, not output. Measuring outcomes makes the gap visible to stakeholders and gives everyone evidence for what to build next. Every question in our bank explains its answer like this.
Two ways to prepare: Practice Mode and Mock Exam Mode
- Practice Mode: study at your own pace. Choose how many questions you want in each session, from a short set to all 120 questions, with no time limit and an in-depth explanation after every answer. Progress saves automatically.
- Mock Exam Mode (Timed Mode): sit a full mock exam that mimics the real one: 40 random questions in 60 minutes, scored at the end. Every attempt draws a new random set.
- In-depth explanations: every question comes with a detailed explanation that walks you through what the question is really asking and why the correct answer is right, so you understand the reasoning instead of memorizing answers.
- Benchmarking: compare your scores with other candidates and see which topics need work.
- Lifetime access with updates whenever Scrum.org changes the exam.

PSPO II FAQ
Is PSPO II the same as PSPO 2? Yes. Scrum.org writes it with Roman numerals, but it is the same exam.
Do I need PSPO I first? No, Scrum.org does not require it. PSPO II builds on everything in PSPO I, so most candidates pass PSPO I first.
Is a course required? No. Scrum.org’s Professional Scrum Product Owner Advanced course is recommended but optional.
How hard is the PSPO II? Harder than PSPO I. The questions are scenarios with several reasonable answers, you have about 90 seconds each, and you still need 85%.
Does PSPO II expire? No. It is a lifetime certification with no renewal fee.
Are these real exam questions or dumps? Neither. Scrum.org’s real questions are confidential, and dumps break its rules and can cost you the certification. These are original questions written to the same format and topics, each with an in-depth explanation.
What if I don’t pass? Our money-back guarantee covers you. See the guarantee terms.
