PSPO I practice test and exam questions: think like a Product Owner
The Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I, often searched as PSPO 1) checks whether you understand how a Product Owner maximizes value, not just what the Scrum Guide says. Many questions describe a situation with a stakeholder, a manager or a team and ask what the Product Owner should do. Our practice tests train exactly that judgement.

What the PSPO I exam tests
- Managing products with agility: product value, the Product Goal, product vision and strategy, and measuring value with evidence rather than output.
- Product Backlog management: ordering, refinement, who can change the backlog and when, and how to handle requests from stakeholders.
- Stakeholders and customers: who decides what, how to say no, and how the Sprint Review is used to gather feedback.
- Forecasting and release planning: why forecasts are not commitments and how releases can happen within a Sprint.
- The Scrum framework from the Product Owner’s seat: how the Product Owner works with the Developers and the Scrum Master in each event.
Sample PSPO I exam question
A senior stakeholder insists that a new feature be added to the current Sprint. The Sprint Goal is unrelated. What should the Product Owner do?
- Add the feature to the Sprint Backlog, since stakeholders fund the product.
- Cancel the Sprint and start a new one that includes the feature.
- Discuss its value with the stakeholder and, if it is worth doing, order it in the Product Backlog for a future Sprint.
- Ask the Scrum Master to decide.
Answer: 3. Only the Developers change the Sprint Backlog, and only in support of the Sprint Goal. The Product Owner owns the Product Backlog and decides where new work fits based on value. Every question in our bank explains its answer like this.

PSPO I FAQ
Is PSPO I the same as PSPO 1? Yes. Scrum.org writes it with a Roman numeral, but it is the same exam.
Do I need to be a Product Owner to pass? No. Business analysts, project managers and Scrum Masters pass it regularly. You do need to think in terms of value and ownership, which the scenario questions train.
Should I take PSM I or PSPO I first? They share the Scrum framework, so either order works. If you lead a product or backlog, start with PSPO I.
Does PSPO I expire? No. It is a lifetime certification with no renewal fee.
Are these real exam questions or dumps? Neither. Scrum.org’s real questions are confidential, and dumps break its rules and can cost you the certification. These are original questions written to the same format and topics, each with an explanation.
What if I don’t pass? Our money-back guarantee covers you. See the guarantee terms.
