PSK I practice test for Scrum with Kanban
The Professional Scrum with Kanban I (PSK I, often searched as PSK-I or PSK 1) certification from Scrum.org checks that you can use Kanban practices inside Scrum to improve flow. Expect questions on the Kanban Guide for Scrum Teams, work-in-progress limits, the Definition of Workflow and flow metrics such as cycle time and throughput, plus how all of it fits with the Scrum events. Our PSK I practice tests cover both guides.

What the PSK I exam tests
- Kanban practices: visualizing the workflow, limiting WIP, active management of work items and improving the Definition of Workflow.
- Flow metrics: work in progress, cycle time, work item age and throughput, and how to read them.
- Scrum with Kanban: how flow changes Sprint Planning, the Daily Scrum, the Sprint Review and the Retrospective.
- Forecasting: using throughput and Monte Carlo forecasts instead of estimates.
Sample PSK I exam question
Which of these is NOT one of the four practices in the Kanban Guide for Scrum Teams?
- Visualization of the Definition of Workflow.
- Limiting work in progress.
- Estimating every item in story points before it is pulled.
- Active management of work items in progress.
Answer: 3. The four practices are visualization of the Definition of Workflow, limiting WIP, active management of work items in progress, and inspecting and adapting the Definition of Workflow. Estimation is not required; teams usually forecast from flow metrics like throughput instead. Every question in our bank explains its answer like this.
Two ways to prepare: Practice Mode and Mock Exam Mode
- Practice Mode: study at your own pace. Choose how many questions you want in each session, from a short set to all 115 questions, with no time limit and an in-depth explanation after every answer. Progress saves automatically.
- Mock Exam Mode (Timed Mode): sit a full mock exam that mimics the real one: 45 random questions in 60 minutes, scored at the end. Every attempt draws a new random set.
- In-depth explanations: every question comes with a detailed explanation that walks you through what the question is really asking and why the correct answer is right, so you understand the reasoning instead of memorizing answers.
- Benchmarking: compare your scores with other candidates and see which topics need work.
- Lifetime access with updates whenever Scrum.org changes the exam.

PSK I FAQ
Is PSK I the same as PSK-I or PSK 1? Yes. They are different spellings of the same Scrum.org exam.
Do I need to know Scrum first? Yes. About half of the exam assumes solid Scrum knowledge, at roughly PSM I level.
Is a course required? No. Scrum.org’s Professional Scrum with Kanban course is recommended but optional.
Does PSK I expire? No. It is a lifetime certification with no renewal fee.
Are these real exam questions or dumps? Neither. Scrum.org’s real questions are confidential, and dumps break its rules and can cost you the certification. These are original questions written to the same format and topics, each with an in-depth explanation.
What if I don’t pass? Our money-back guarantee covers you. See the guarantee terms.
