PSD practice test for Professional Scrum Developers
The Professional Scrum Developer (PSD, also called PSD I) certification from Scrum.org is for people who build products in Scrum Teams. It checks that you know Scrum and also the engineering practices that make a Done Increment possible every Sprint: test automation, continuous integration, refactoring, emergent architecture and working as one cross-functional team. Our PSD practice tests cover both sides.

What the PSD exam tests
- Scrum framework and theory: events, artifacts, accountabilities and empiricism from a Developer’s view.
- Technical practices: test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery, refactoring and pairing.
- Quality and Done: the Definition of Done, technical debt and keeping the Increment releasable.
- Design and architecture: emergent design, architecture decisions and documentation in Scrum.
- Cross-functional, self-managing teams: how Developers plan, refine the Product Backlog and own their work.
Sample PSD exam question
Which practice best keeps the Increment integrated and releasable throughout the Sprint?
- Integrate and test everything in the last two days of the Sprint.
- Continuous integration with an automated test suite running on every commit.
- A separate integration team that merges work after each Sprint.
- Long-lived feature branches merged just before the Sprint Review.
Answer: 2. Integrating small changes often, with automated tests, finds problems while they are cheap to fix and keeps the Increment usable at any time. Late integration and separate integration teams hide problems until the end. Every question in our bank explains its answer like this.
Two ways to prepare: Practice Mode and Mock Exam Mode
- Practice Mode: study at your own pace. Choose how many questions you want in each session, from a short set to all 127 questions, with no time limit and an in-depth explanation after every answer. Progress saves automatically.
- Mock Exam Mode (Timed Mode): sit a full mock exam that mimics the real one: 80 random questions in 60 minutes, scored at the end. Every attempt draws a new random set.
- In-depth explanations: every question comes with a detailed explanation that walks you through what the question is really asking and why the correct answer is right, so you understand the reasoning instead of memorizing answers.
- Benchmarking: compare your scores with other candidates and see which topics need work.
- Lifetime access with updates whenever Scrum.org changes the exam.

PSD FAQ
Is PSD the same as PSD I? Yes. Scrum.org used to call it PSD I. It is the same exam.
Do I need to be a programmer? It helps. The questions assume you know what practices like TDD and continuous integration are for, but they do not ask you to write code.
Is a course required? No. Scrum.org’s Applying Professional Scrum for Software Development course is recommended but optional.
Does PSD expire? No. It is a lifetime certification with no renewal fee.
Are these real exam questions or dumps? Neither. Scrum.org’s real questions are confidential, and dumps break its rules and can cost you the certification. These are original questions written to the same format and topics, each with an in-depth explanation.
What if I don’t pass? Our money-back guarantee covers you. See the guarantee terms.
