The current exam has 120 questions in 180 minutes, organized around four domains: Mindset, Leadership, Product and Delivery. Sample PMI-ACP exam question
A team’s velocity has dropped for three iterations, and team members say urgent requests keep interrupting them. What should the agile practitioner do first?
- Make the interruptions visible and discuss with the team and product owner how to handle them, for example with an intake policy or WIP limits.
- Ask management to stop all urgent requests.
- Add more people to the team.
- Make the iterations longer.

Who can take the PMI-ACP? PMI requires agile training and project experience. Check the PMI-ACP handbook for the current requirements.
Is PMI-ACP tied to Scrum? No. It covers agile in general, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean and XP.
How long is PMI-ACP valid? Three years. You renew it by earning 30 professional development units in agile topics.
