This Privacy Policy explains how ScrumPrep handles personal information when you use scrumprep.com, student.scrumprep.com, a ScrumPrep account, learning products, forms, or related services.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use ScrumPrep, we may collect:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, login details, and account preferences;
- Purchase information, such as order number, product, amount, transaction status, billing details, and refund records;
- Learning activity, such as course access, progress, practice-test activity, scores, attempts, and completion information;
- Messages and requests, including contact-form messages, support enquiries, refund evidence, survey responses, reviews, and forum content;
- Marketing choices, such as whether you subscribed to or opted out of promotional messages; and
- Technical and usage information, such as device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, referring source, interaction data, security events, and cookie or similar identifier data.
Payment processors handle payment-card transactions. ScrumPrep receives transaction and order information needed to provide the purchase, but this policy does not claim that ScrumPrep stores complete payment-card details.
2. How we use information
ScrumPrep may use personal information to:
- create and manage accounts;
- provide Exam Preps, Bundles, Unlimited access, quizzes, and other requested services;
- process purchases, renewals, cancellations, and eligible refunds;
- record learning activity and show progress or results;
- answer questions and provide support;
- send service, account, purchase, and policy communications;
- send marketing messages when permitted and manage opt-out choices;
- measure and improve content, site performance, and customer experience;
- protect accounts, prevent fraud, and maintain service security; and
- comply with legal, accounting, and operational obligations.
3. When we share information
ScrumPrep may share information with service providers that support website hosting and content delivery; ecommerce, accounts, and learning systems; payment processing; email, forms, and customer support; analytics and advertising; fraud prevention, bot protection, and security; and professional, legal, accounting, or compliance needs.
These providers may process information only for the services they provide to ScrumPrep and under their own applicable privacy terms.
ScrumPrep may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or support a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of the business.
4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
ScrumPrep uses cookies and similar technologies for site operation, preferences, measurement, security, and advertising. Current site evidence includes WordPress and WooCommerce functions, Google tag and advertising services, Google consent messaging, and Cloudflare security and analytics services.

5. Marketing choices
You can unsubscribe from promotional email through the link in the message or contact ScrumPrep. ScrumPrep may still send non-promotional messages needed for your account, purchase, subscription, support request, or policy update.
6. Retention
ScrumPrep keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing access, maintaining transaction and learning records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations.
Different records may be kept for different periods. ScrumPrep does not state a fixed retention period where one has not been operationally verified.
7. Security
ScrumPrep uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee complete security. Keep your password confidential and contact ScrumPrep if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. International processing
ScrumPrep and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, applicable safeguards and legal requirements will govern that processing.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
To make a privacy request, use the Contact Us page or email [email protected]. Send the request from the email address associated with your account when possible. ScrumPrep may ask for information needed to verify your identity and locate the relevant records.
10. Account deletion
You can delete your ScrumPrep Student account yourself:
- Sign in to your account. Go to My Account and sign in with your account credentials.
- Open Delete Account. Choose Delete Account from the account menu.
- Verify your identity. Enter the password for the account.
- Review and confirm. Review the deletion notice and confirm that you want to continue.
- Delete the account. Select the final Delete Account button. Account deletion cannot be reversed, and access to the deleted account and its purchased or subscribed content will end.
If you do not see the Delete Account option or need help, use the Contact Us page or email [email protected] from the email address associated with the account.
Account deletion does not create a refund. Refund eligibility is governed by the Guarantee & Refund Policy and applicable law. If you have an active ScrumPrep Unlimited subscription, cancel future renewal through your account or contact ScrumPrep for help before deleting the account.
Some information may be retained where reasonably needed for transaction records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Information that must be retained will remain protected and will no longer be used for unrelated purposes.
11. External links
ScrumPrep pages may link to third-party websites, including certification providers and social platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
12. Changes to this policy
ScrumPrep may update this policy to reflect changes to services, business practices, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top will be updated. Where required, ScrumPrep will provide additional notice of a material change.
